Bangladesh inflation: Food and commodity prices rise sharply

Bangladesh is battling not just the coronavirus pandemic but soaring inflation rates too.
Market experts say, soaring inflation, along with rising food prices in Bangladesh in recent months, has put an additional burden on low- and middle-income households.
According to data from a government agency, nearly all types of daily commodities are now being sold at higher prices compared with the same period last year.
