B-52 Stratofortess takeoff and landing at Royal Air Force Fairford airfield on September 19, 2017. The airmen are from 2nd Bomb Wing, deployed to RAF Fairford for 3 weeks supporting Bomber Assurance and Deterrence operations. USAF Strategic Command bomber forces regularly conduct combined theater security cooperation engagements with allies and partners, demonstrating the U.S. capability to command, control and conduct bomber missions across the globe.
