AMYLOIDOSIS: THE "WILD" TYPE

This is an educational video about the fifth and final type of amyloidosis we are going to learn about in this series. We discuss the reason that it is called the "wild" type, and what it used to be called.

We talk about the symptoms of this type, diagnosis, and treatment options for this type, as well as the importance of genetic testing to determine it is not a different type! The only way to tell is by ruling out the other options, such as light chain (AL)!
