90,000 residents can't leave area because 1 elderly man died covid

Quite literally. Does anyone realize how many people die every single day from car accidents? Or heart attacks? Or cancer? Should we just never leave our homes again? I did a quick check. Sydney is the biggest city in its state. In 2019 in that state 56,058 people died, according to Australian government statistics. Did we lock down the city for any of them?
Thumbs down for the news obviously but important to keep people aware of what is going on. This is in Australia. Pure craziness.
