For the last 8 years, as a show of force, China has unveiled several secret military weapons to demonstrate to the West that it is a force to be reckoned with.

In addition to its secret colossal underground tunnels and facilities
-that house dozens of ICBMs ready to be transported to where they are needed- known as the Chinese Second Great Wall, the country has unveiled one more of its secrets: a stealth nuclear submarine.

In early 2017, photos emerged of China's newest secret stealth nuclear submarine, the "Jin" Type 094A.

Also known as the Humpback for its hump that conceals twelve JL-2A ballistic missiles with ranges of 7,200 km, it gives China the ability to strike nearly anywhere in the world from the safety of its heavily guarded Yulin Naval Base.

US intelligence is preoccupied that the Chinese missiles could reach any part of the US from Hainan Island in case of imminent conflict.

The submarines are approximately 137 meters in length, and they are being developed by the China State Shipbuilding Corp.

It is rumored that since the COVID pandemic began, Chinese engineers have been working uninterruptedly to ship the subs in time.

The submarine includes many improvements from an older model, the Type 094, including a curved conning tower, a more hydrodynamic hull, and acoustic quieting technologies that make it easier to avoid enemy detection.

Its development is part of China's broader strategy in boosting its "second strike" capability, or the ability to launch a retaliatory nuclear attack alongside the ICBMS housed by the Underground Great Wall tunnels.

Two upgraded Type 094A Jin-class nuclear-Powered Ballistic Missile Submarines, or SSBNs, were displayed during the 71st anniversary of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy, abbreviated PLAN, in April 2020.

As of 2020, China only has six of these boats. The long-term plan of the Chinese fleet, according to leaks, is to have 12 of them fully operational and ready to rain down hell if the time comes.
