4 Marines with 1/7 awarded Silver Stars, Bronze Stars with Combat V, Full Award Ceremony

Two Marines with 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment will be awarded the Silver Star and two more the Bronze Star with Combat V. All the Marines are being recognized for their actions during six days of near constant fire fights from June 22, 2012 to June 27, 2012. The Silver Star is the nation's third highest award for valor.
