1848 prototype and 1851 Feldstutzer

The Bloke and The Chap take a look at a step in the evolution of the Swiss Federal Carbine 1851, aka Feldstutzer. The Chap happened across a Zurich 1848 prototype, one of several designs on the way from a pure target rifle to the 1851 Feldstutzer.

Of course, they take them both to the range and make some smoke.
