Much respect to you for opening up about the trials in your marriage. My husband traveled our entire marriage and we almost killed each other when he retired! LOL We had to learn to live together full time. Sounds crazy but it is the truth. I hope we are going home soon! Keep saying that Linda! Love you so much!

My husband traveled a lot too and the same when he came home. We had our routine set, we ate what we liked for dinner and when he got home, everything had to change to suit him. Dinners were what he liked, we had to remake our routines then he'd leave again and we had to redo everything again. It was very hard on our marriage also but I'd rather have that kind of trial than when he was drinking. I was glad to be free of that trial. He finally quit traveling cuz he knew it was hurting us. So, he stayed home and worked in Nashville the rest of his life. So, yes, you are right...it is very hard on a marriage.
