Zion's Nat'l Park with TheLateBoyScout & BowShadow: Where Angels Land

On a car camping trip to Zion's National Park, BowShadow and I tackled Angel's Landing. This treacherous hike is not recommended for small children or those afraid of heights, but I felt optimistic that my 5 year old could make it all the way to the top. I would have been more apprehensive, but on this day I could sense that his confidence level was very high, and he was in an attitude of listening to and obeying his father (me). I knew for certain he could do it when I asked him "what do you think, do you want to go the rest of the way to the top?", and he casually replied "sure."
