This man is quoting from Ecclesiastes regarding the spirit returning to God. The writer of Ecclesiastes did not have insight of the mysteries that were given to Paul the apostle regarding "spiritual bodies." When the writer of Ecclesiastes said the spirit returns to God, he was specifically speaking about the breath.

He doesn't understand what a spiritual body is. We will have bodies of flesh when we are resurrected. Jesus had a body of flesh when he resurrected.
Luk 24:39  Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

The body we have right now is a natural body; when we are resurrected we will have a spiritual body.
1Co 15:44  It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

Study for yourself.

We will have bodies of flesh when we are resurrected? You don't know the word like you think if you believe we are raised up in resurrection in flesh. It is written, flesh and blood cannot enter heaven!

@Bealight: did you notice that Jesus said flesh and bones? In the scripture that I posted, not flesh and blood?

@Bealight: Luk 24:37  But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. Luk 24:38  And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Luk 24:39  Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have..

@Bealight: It caught my attention a few years ago that he did not say flesh and blood, but actually said flesh and bones. Eph 5:30 says we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. It's been a while since I've looked into this, but if you want, maybe we can search together and gain some understanding. I'm gonna take a look at it again today.

@Goodfightoffaith: why does it say in Isaiah, that the Lamb will lay with the wolf? Because even the animals are in a spiritual body and not flesh.

@Bealight: are you saying that the context of Isaiah is addressing spiritual body versus body of flesh?

@Goodfightoffaith: if you want to believe flesh is able to enter heaven you go right ahead a believe that, as for me I will stick with what the spirit has confirmed, no flesh will enter heaven.

@Bealight: Luk 24:36  And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. Luk 24:37  But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. Luk 24:38  And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Luk 24:39  Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

@Bealight: 1Co 15:50  Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Our present flesh and blood bodies are corrupt. You aren't understanding this verse in context. The apostle Paul goes on to say that we should all be changed. Jesus told his disciples that his body was flesh and bones, not flesh and blood. And there is nothing in scripture that states that his body changed when he ascended into the heavens.

@Bealight: Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. The "spirit" in this verse is breath. Also, you are misquoting the word of God. There is nothing in scripture that says flesh and blood cannot enter heaven. The scripture specifically states that flesh and blood shall not inherit the kingdom of God. When Jesus resurrected from the dead, he had an incorruptible body of flesh and bones.
