As this man was fleeing, he became surrounded by the flames. Fleeing from the vehicle he was in, he hopped over a fence and made his way down a nearby canyon where a creek ran through. He then said he submerged himself in the water as the flames passed over him, allowing him to survive. But unfortunately, everyone else there perished. It's truly sad and horrifying what he went through, and from watching the video - you can easily hear it in his voice.
