The Walther PDP has been marketed as the next best thing and the absolute best optic read pistol. The PDP stands for performance duty pistol and it has the PDT, which stands for performance duty trigger. Walther seems to want to label everything in the PDP with a performance name. I will say I have been really happy with this after having a warranty issues and then waiting for a plate for a month.
