VLOG Surviving The Highs and Lows

I'm not sure how your spiritual life is going but I seem to have a lot more lows than I have highs, and the lows last far longer than the highs?

Paul seemed to have the same problem except his highs and lows about ten fold?

Act 14:8 And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked: 

Paul heals this man and then something strange happens?

Act 14:11 And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men. 
Act 14:12 And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercury, because he was the chief speaker. 
Act 14:13 Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people. 

It was all Paul could do to convince these people that he was just a man, they needed to stop this worshiping idols and instead worship the true God of heaven.

So one minute Paul is a god and within a very short period, He is still in Lystra?

Act 14:19  And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and, having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead. 

What, from a god to being stoned, I wonder how many people were in both crowds, the worshiping and then the stoning?

Act 20:22  And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: 
Act 20:23  Save that the Holy Ghost witnesses in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. 
Act 20:24  But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. 

Paul accepted both the highs and the lows, he knew that every high was followed by a low, and every low would eventually give way to a high, the key work through the low and wait for the high.
