Shocking footage shows a building collapsing in Turkey after a 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit the country.

More than 20 people have died and hundreds have been injured as rescue teams continue to search for people trapped under the rubble.

The powerful tremor was centred off Turkey’s Izmir province.

Izmir’s mayor said that at least 70 people have been rescued so far. Officials have set up a tent area amid fears that more buildings could come down
