00:00 [Music]
00:05 good evening and welcome to tucker
00:07 carlson tonight there's an awful lot of
00:08 noise in the news right now as you would
00:10 expect there's an election coming three
00:12 weeks
00:13 away everyone wants to get a blow in
00:15 before it's too late
00:17 but not everything you hear is untrue
00:20 and not every story is complex at the
00:23 heart of the growing biden ukraine
00:24 scandal for example is a
00:26 very straightforward question did joe
00:28 biden subvert
00:29 american foreign policy in order to
00:31 enrich his own family
00:33 in 2015 joe biden was the sitting vice
00:36 president of the united states
00:37 included in his portfolio were u.s
00:39 relations with the nation of ukraine
00:42 so at that moment vice president joe
00:44 biden had more influence over the
00:45 ukrainian government and the ukrainian
00:47 economy
00:48 than any other person on the globe
00:50 outside of eastern europe
00:52 biden's younger son hunter knew that he
00:54 hoped to get rich from his father's
00:55 influence
00:56 emails published yesterday by the new
00:58 york post documents apparently taken
01:00 directly from hundred biden's own laptop
01:02 tell some of that story tonight we'd
01:04 like to bring you some more detail
01:06 we have another batch of emails some
01:07 exclusive to the show we believe they
01:09 also came from hunter biden's laptop
01:12 we can't prove that they did we haven't
01:14 examined that computer
01:15 but every detail that we could check
01:17 including hunter biden's personal email
01:19 address at the time
01:21 suggests they are authentic as we told
01:23 you last night if these emails are fake
01:26 this is the most complex and
01:28 sophisticated hoax
01:29 in history it almost seems beyond
01:32 human capacity the biden campaign
01:35 clearly believes these emails are real
01:36 they have not said otherwise we sent the
01:38 body of them to hunter biden's attorney
01:40 and never heard back so with that in
01:43 mind here's what we have learned
01:45 on november 2nd 2015 at 4 30 in the
01:48 afternoon a burisma executive called
01:50 vadim pozharsky
01:51 emailed hunter biden and his business
01:53 partner devin archer
01:55 the purpose of the email pizarski
01:57 explains is to quote be on the same page
01:59 about our final goals
02:00 including but not limited to a concrete
02:03 course of action
02:04 so what did bharisma want exactly well
02:07 good pr for starters
02:08 the executive wanted quote high-ranking
02:10 u.s officials to express their quote
02:12 positive opinion of barisma and then he
02:15 wanted the administration to act on
02:17 barisma's behalf
02:19 the scope of work should also include
02:21 organization of a visit of a number of
02:23 widely recognized and influential
02:25 current and or former u.s policy makers
02:27 to ukraine in november aiming to conduct
02:30 meetings with and bring
02:31 positive signals and message of support
02:33 to burisma
02:35 the goal the executive explained was to
02:37 quote close down
02:38 any cases slash pursuits against the
02:41 head of burisma
02:42 in ukraine so that couldn't be clearer
02:45 what they wanted
02:46 burisma wanted hunter biden's father to
02:49 get their company out of legal trouble
02:51 with the ukrainian government
02:53 and that's exactly what happened one
02:55 month later to the day
02:57 on december 2nd 2015 hunter biden
03:00 received a notice from a washington pr
03:02 firm called blue star strategies
03:04 blue star strategies apparently had been
03:05 hired to lobby the administration on
03:07 ukraine
03:08 this show has exclusively obtained that
03:10 email hello
03:11 all it began this morning the white
03:13 house hosted a conference call regarding
03:15 the vice president's upcoming trip to
03:17 ukraine
03:18 attaches a memo from the blue star
03:20 strategies team
03:21 with the minutes of the call which
03:23 outlined the trip's agenda and addressed
03:25 several questions regarding u.s policy
03:27 toward ukraine
03:28 end quote so here you have a pr
03:31 firm involved in an official white house
03:34 foreign policy call
03:36 how could that happen good question but
03:39 it worked
03:40 days later joe biden flew to ukraine and
03:42 did exactly what his son wanted
03:45 the vice president gave a speech
03:47 slamming the very ukrainian law
03:49 enforcement official who was tormenting
03:50 barisma the exact guy
03:53 if ukrainian government doesn't fire its
03:55 top prosecutor man called victor shoken
03:57 biden explained the administration
03:59 withhold a billion dollars in american
04:01 aid
04:02 now ukraine is a poor country so they
04:04 had no choice but to obey biden's
04:07 bullying worked
04:08 he bragged about it later i had gotten a
04:11 commitment from poroshenko
04:13 and from uh yatsenyuk that they would
04:16 take action against the state prosecutor
04:18 and they didn't
04:19 so they said they had it they were
04:20 walking out to press conference said no
04:22 i said i'm not going to
04:24 we're not going to give you the billion
04:25 dollars they said you have no authority
04:27 you're not the president the president
04:29 said i said call him
04:31 i said i'm telling you you're not
04:32 getting a billion dollars i said you're
04:34 not getting the billion i'm going to be
04:36 leaving here and i think it was about
04:37 six hours i looked i said i'm leaving in
04:38 six hours
04:39 if the prosecutor's not fired you're not
04:41 getting the money
04:42 well son of a [ __ ] got fired
04:47 now joe biden gave that speech before
04:49 the council on foreign relations so we
04:52 pretend as if what he said was normal
04:54 and officially authorized this is how
04:55 things
04:56 are done that's not true at all this is
04:58 bizarre
04:59 and the amazing thing about the video
05:01 you just saw is that no one in that
05:03 audience of harvard graduates and other
05:05 assorted smart people
05:06 asked the glaringly obvious question why
05:09 was the vice president of the united
05:11 states
05:12 threatening a tiny country like ukraine
05:14 to fire its top prosecutor
05:16 that doesn't seem like a vice
05:18 president's role
05:20 well now we know why victor shoken has
05:22 signed an
05:23 affidavit david affirming that he was in
05:25 fact investigating barisma
05:27 at the moment joe biden had him removed
05:30 shogun said that before he was fired
05:32 administration officials pressured him
05:34 into dropping the case against burisma
05:35 he would not do that
05:37 so joe biden canned him that's how
05:40 things
05:40 really work in washington your son's got
05:43 a lucrative consulting deal with
05:44 ukrainian energy company
05:46 you tailor american foreign policy to
05:48 help make him rich
05:50 our foreign policy even at the state
05:53 department possibly the most cynical
05:55 agency in government
05:56 this seemed shockingly brazen during the
05:59 impeachment proceedings last fall a
06:01 state department official called george
06:02 kent
06:03 said it was widely known in washington
06:05 the bidens were up to something sleazy
06:07 in ukraine quote i was on a call with
06:09 somebody on the vice president's staff
06:11 and i raised my concerns that i had
06:12 heard that hunter biden was on the board
06:14 of burisma this george kent noted could
06:18 create a perception of a conflict of
06:20 interest
06:21 so how did the vice president's office
06:23 respond to this concern
06:25 well according to george kent quote the
06:27 message that i recall hearing back was
06:29 that the vice president's
06:30 son beau was dying of cancer and there
06:32 was no further bandwidth to deal with
06:34 family related
06:35 issues at the time family related issues
06:38 this was america's foreign policy being
06:41 tailored
06:42 to joe biden's son five years later joe
06:44 biden still
06:45 has not been forced to explain why he
06:47 fired ukraine's top prosecutor at
06:49 precisely the moment his son
06:51 was being paid to get him to fire
06:53 ukraine's top prosecutor
06:55 nor has joe biden addressed whether or
06:57 not he personally
06:59 benefited from the burisma contract but
07:01 there are tantalizing hints
07:03 last night former mayor rudy giuliani
07:05 published what he said was yet another
07:07 email from hunter biden's laptop
07:09 it's a note to one of his children it's
07:10 sad and it's fraught and it's personal
07:12 and we're not going to quote it at
07:13 length
07:14 but at the end there's this quote don't
07:17 worry
07:18 unlike your grandfather i won't make you
07:20 give me half your salary
07:23 what does that mean exactly well we
07:25 don't know
07:26 there may be more detail on the laptop
07:27 but unfortunately we don't have access
07:29 to that
07:30 but the question remains how has joe
07:32 biden lived in extravagance
07:34 all these years on a government salary
07:37 no one has
07:37 ever answered that question and the tech
07:40 monopolies are working hard to make
07:41 certain no one ever does
07:43 this morning the new york post published
07:44 another story based on the emails
07:46 this one describes a business venture
07:48 hunter biden was working on in china
07:50 the email reads this way quote at the
07:52 moment there's a provisional agreement
07:54 the equity will be distributed as
07:56 follows 10 held by hunter
07:58 for the big guy the big guy is the big
08:01 guy
08:02 joe biden if so how much did joe biden
08:05 get
08:06 and how much of that came from the
08:07 communist chinese government those are
08:09 real questions
08:10 this man could be elected president in
08:12 three weeks
08:13 but twitter doesn't want you to wonder
08:15 it won't allow you to ask those
08:17 questions
08:17 twitter restricted the new york post
08:19 story as quote unsafe
08:21 like it was a lawn dart or a defective
08:23 circular saw
08:25 and that was enough for the biden
08:26 campaign it was enormously useful
08:28 all day today they deflected questions
08:30 about joe biden's subversion of our
08:32 country's foreign policy
08:34 by invoking twitter's ban on the new
08:36 york post story
08:38 so the tech monopoly sensor information
08:40 to help their candidate
08:41 the candidate uses that censorship to
08:43 dismiss the story
08:45 one hand washes the other watch
08:48 well look um i i think twitter's
08:51 response to
08:52 the actual uh uh article itself uh makes
08:55 clear
08:56 that these uh you know purported
08:57 allegations are false
08:59 uh and they're not true uh and glad to
09:02 hear you know to see
09:03 uh you know social media companies like
09:04 twitter taking responsibility to limit
09:06 misinformation
09:08 you want to know what corruption looks
09:10 like that's a term that we throw around
09:11 a lot
09:12 you just saw what corruption looks like
09:14 my campaign donors control the media
09:16 they're shutting down the public's
09:18 access to the information that
09:19 criticizes me
09:20 the fact they're doing that gives me
09:22 justification not to address your
09:24 question about that information
09:25 that's what corruption looks like when
09:27 billionaires shut down legitimate
09:29 questions about a candidate three weeks
09:31 before election day that's corruption
09:33 it's also almost perfectly circular
09:36 reasoning and to illustrate that
09:38 twitter and facebook censored the new
09:39 york post story before they had any
09:41 reason whatsoever to suspect it wasn't
09:43 true
09:44 even now they're not really claiming
09:46 it's a hoax because it's not a hoax
09:49 in minutes they simply shut down this
09:50 country's centuries-long tradition of a
09:52 free press and they did it for purely
09:54 partisan reasons they didn't pretend
09:56 otherwise now it doesn't matter who you
09:59 plan to vote for the first tuesday in
10:00 november
10:01 you should be terrified democracies
10:04 cannot
10:04 exist and never will be able to exist
10:06 without the free flow of information
10:08 that is a prerequisite
10:10 and without it we're done but companies
10:13 like facebook and google and twitter do
10:15 not care because they don't believe in
10:17 democracy they worship power
10:19 and they don't need to be consistent
10:21 melania trump's private phone
10:22 conversations the president stolen tax
10:24 returns they were happy to publish all
10:26 of that
10:26 they didn't have a problem with hacking
10:28 but if you criticize the democratic
10:30 candidate
10:31 their candidate you are banned that's
10:33 the standard they've set
10:35 how do we come back from this today you
10:38 had elected democrats members of a party
10:40 that in just
10:40 the recent past claimed to revere free
10:43 speech
10:44 cheering on censorship here's the
10:46 supposedly
10:47 moderate senator chris coons of delaware
10:49 doing just that
10:51 facebook and twitter have policies to
10:54 not spread things that are utterly
10:56 unreliable that have been debunked
10:58 and where their origin is untrustworthy
11:02 they're practicing their own internal
11:04 controls as i wish they had over the
11:06 past four years
11:07 if they had been more selective about
11:09 what they posted
11:11 in 2016 don't take my word for it listen
11:14 to the head of the fbi
11:16 an active russian disinformation
11:18 campaign in 2016 had an influence on
11:20 that election
11:21 they are trying even harder in this
11:23 election i'm glad that they are managing
11:25 the content on their own websites
11:28 that man's a liar not one word
11:32 of this story has been debunked not one
11:34 word in those emails has been quote
11:36 debunked
11:37 and if it is debunked we'll be the first
11:39 to report it because we're not liars
11:41 but did you catch the phrase he wanted
11:43 you to hear
11:44 russian disinformation that's what
11:47 they're claiming these emails are and
11:49 it's all over the internet in fact free
11:52 conspiracy-laden conjecture crazier than
11:54 anything the q people ever thought of
11:57 but none of their garbage their lunatic
11:58 lies about russia
12:00 is ever censored by the tech monopolies
12:01 it's not unsafe
12:03 because it helps joe biden therefore you
12:06 can read it
12:07 we're the real journalists now we need
12:08 them more than ever
12:10 they're gone they're cowering they're
12:12 afraid they don't want to upset power
12:15 jake sherman of politico who claims to
12:17 be a news reporter
12:18 actually apologized on twitter for
12:20 asking the biden campaign
12:22 about hunter biden's emails these people
12:25 are craven
12:26 they have no standards they have no
12:28 self-respect
12:29 like their masters in silicon valley
12:31 they worship power alone
12:34 adam schiff of california knows that
12:35 feeling well when he sees censorship it
12:38 excites him
12:38 and he calls for more the online
12:41 ecosystem
12:42 and unwitting audiences that the kremlin
12:44 so ably exploited
12:46 remain vulnerable to unscrupulous
12:48 homegrown actors who seed and spread
12:50 falsehoods
12:51 falsehoods of their own if one left
12:53 unchecked
12:54 there could be irreversible damage not
12:56 only to our nation's discourse
12:58 but to how we as a society discern fact
13:01 from fiction
13:02 the leading social media platforms have
13:04 all made significant changes in their
13:05 policies and capabilities since 2016
13:08 but they have not changed the
13:09 foundational features of their platforms
13:11 that expose users
13:13 and even recommend to them uh often
13:16 extreme
13:16 sensational or emotionally charged
13:18 content
13:21 that guy is the chairman of the house
13:23 intelligence committee
13:25 and there he is affirming the censorship
13:27 of his own campaign donors in silicon
13:29 valley
13:30 the most powerful people in the
13:33 if this doesn't rattle your cage then
13:35 nothing
13:36 will ten years ago no member of congress
13:39 would have said what adam schiff just
13:40 said in public
13:41 never it would have considered an
13:43 obvious threat to our constitution to
13:45 the first amendment in the bill of
13:46 rights
13:46 the aclu would have screamed
13:48 professional journalists associations
13:50 would have joined them
13:51 but today they are all silent some are
13:54 applauding
13:55 and so it accelerates watch this member
13:58 of congress suggest that the government
13:59 ought to decide what news organizations
14:01 are allowed to publish just like they do
14:03 in china
14:05 do we need a new agency that essentially
14:08 would be
14:09 on behalf of the public making the rules
14:13 subject to with legislative authority as
14:17 opposed to have that delegated to the
14:19 uh the the tech giants
14:23 oh a new agency
14:26 with legislative authority to decide
14:30 what you're allowed to read
14:32 sound familiar we've even got a name for
14:34 it actually ready to go the ministry of
14:36 truth
14:37 and it's coming miranda devine writes
14:40 for the new york post
14:41 she joins us again tonight we're happy
14:43 to have amanda thanks so much
14:44 for coming back tell us since some of
14:47 our
14:47 viewers who've been relying on social
14:49 media for their news may not know
14:51 what the new york post revealed today
14:52 from this cache of emails
14:55 well this is day two of hunter biden's
14:58 abandoned
14:59 laptop and the emails and documents and
15:01 photographs that are on it
15:03 which all point to a cash for influence
15:07 grift of the biden family and today we
15:10 published
15:11 uh the china emails documents that
15:14 showed
15:15 tens of millions of dollars even
15:17 hundreds of millions of dollars
15:19 flowing to the biden family from chinese
15:22 companies
15:23 chinese state-owned companies that are
15:25 linked to
15:26 the chinese communist party for instance
15:30 in one deal hunter biden is
15:33 getting 10 million dollars a year for
15:37 quote introductions alone this is from a
15:40 chinese energy
15:41 company um in another case he's
15:44 on a one million dollar retainer for
15:47 supposed legal services
15:49 in another case i think you mentioned
15:51 there is a company
15:54 lucrative new chinese company that split
15:57 up six ways
15:58 and allocated 20 here 10
16:02 there hunter biden gets 20 but he also
16:04 gets another 10
16:06 that he is holding for quote the big guy
16:10 whoever that might be you you can use
16:13 your imagination
16:14 so what's significant about this
16:17 is that these deals are happening after
16:20 joe biden has stopped
16:22 being vice president this is around 2017
16:25 but what is the chinese communist party
16:28 doing what are they paying for exactly
16:31 when they are giving tens hundreds of
16:34 millions of dollars
16:35 to the family of the former vice
16:38 president
16:39 future presidential candidate who may be
16:42 president of the united states
16:44 as of november january
16:48 so what exactly are they paying for and
16:50 you have to remember also
16:52 that joe biden introduced his son hunter
16:55 in 2013
16:56 to the the top officials of the chinese
16:59 communist party
17:00 when he flew him there on air force two
17:03 for an
17:04 eight day visit in which joe biden met
17:06 president xi
17:07 and failed miserably to do any of the
17:10 things that he was sent there to do
17:12 in america's national interest including
17:14 stopping china
17:15 from militarizing islands in the south
17:18 china sea
17:19 so while america missed out
17:22 hunter biden got a 1.5 billion
17:26 deal with a subsidiary of a chinese bank
17:30 these are very serious charges and and
17:32 there's so many threads to what you said
17:34 we can't possibly at this date know
17:36 exactly where they all lead
17:38 but we do know that this is a story this
17:41 is news and it requires an explanation
17:43 from the joe biden for president
17:44 campaign have you received one
17:48 no uh you know yesterday joe biden
17:51 called the lid went into hiding before
17:53 10 am
17:54 today he's just done virtual fundraisers
17:58 he hasn't
17:59 made himself available to journalists he
18:01 hasn't answered questions
18:03 he hasn't done press conferences the
18:06 interesting thing
18:07 is that his campaign is actually now
18:10 hedging a bit yesterday they said oh no
18:13 you know we searched uh joe biden's
18:15 official
18:16 campaign calendar sorry official
18:19 calendar from when he was vice president
18:20 and found no evidence of a meeting with
18:23 the number three
18:24 in the ukrainian company barisma that
18:26 was paying his son so much money
18:29 yet today what they're saying is well
18:32 look there might have been a meeting but
18:33 it would have been
18:34 informal on the sidelines very cursory
18:37 so hedging their bets that's a pretty
18:40 bad sign they have not pushed back and
18:43 for all those democrats and other
18:45 apologists today who are saying
18:47 that these are purported allegations
18:50 that they've been debunked
18:51 discredited etc none of that is true
18:55 this is brand new evidence never been
18:57 seen before
18:58 uh emails that point to a link between
19:01 joe biden
19:02 and his family's grift in these shady
19:05 foreign countries these shady foreign
19:08 companies
19:08 and he hasn't answered it two days not
19:11 an answer maybe he will answer it
19:12 tonight
19:13 when he does a town hall uh i doubt
19:15 whether he'll be asked any really tough
19:17 questions though
19:18 no and some people aren't even aware of
19:20 it because of the censorship
19:22 and so we're proud to highlight the new
19:24 york post reporting on this show and to
19:26 repeat that we will never submit
19:28 period to censorship on this channel
19:30 ever miranda thanks so much for coming
19:32 on
19:33 appreciate it thanks tucker well one
19:35 editor at the new york post said
19:36 yesterday that a digital
19:38 civil war is underway big tech isn't
19:40 even hiding its standards anymore it's
19:42 openly partisan
19:43 openly repressive totalitarian in its
19:46 instincts
19:47 we'll talk to the editor who wrote that
19:49 about where this is going
19:50 because it is going somewhere that's
19:52 after the break
19:54 [Music]
20:04 good evening and welcome to tucker
20:05 carlson tonight there's an awful lot of
20:07 noise in the news right now as you would
20:09 expect there's an election coming three
20:10 weeks
20:11 away everyone wants to get a blow in
20:14 before it's too late
20:15 but not everything you hear is untrue
20:18 and not every story is complex at the
20:21 heart of the growing biden ukraine
20:23 scandal for example is a
20:24 very straightforward question did joe
20:26 biden subvert
20:28 american foreign policy in order to
20:30 enrich his own family
20:31 in 2015 joe biden was the sitting vice
20:34 president of the united states
20:35 included in his portfolio were u.s
20:37 relations with the nation of ukraine
20:40 so at that moment vice president joe
20:42 biden had more influence over the
20:43 ukrainian government and the ukrainian
20:45 economy
20:46 than any other person on the globe
20:48 outside of eastern europe
20:50 biden's younger son hunter knew that he
20:52 hoped to get rich from his father's
20:54 influence
20:55 emails published yesterday by the new
20:56 york post documents apparently taken
20:58 directly from hunter biden's own laptop
21:00 tell some of that story tonight we'd
21:02 like to bring you some more detail
21:04 we have another batch of emails some
21:06 exclusive to the show we believe they
21:07 also came from hunter biden's laptop
21:10 we can't prove that they did we haven't
21:12 examined that computer
21:13 but every detail that we could check
21:15 including hunter biden's personal email
21:17 address at the time
21:19 suggests they are authentic as we told
21:22 you last night if these
21:23 emails are fake this is the most complex
21:26 and sophisticated hoax
21:27 in history it almost seems beyond
21:30 human capacity the biden campaign
21:33 clearly believes these emails are real
21:34 they have not said otherwise we sent the
21:36 body of them to hunter biden's attorney
21:38 and never heard back so with that in
21:41 mind here's what we have learned
21:43 on november 2nd 2015 at 4 30 in the
21:46 afternoon a burisma executive called
21:48 vadim posharsky
21:50 emailed hunter biden and his business
21:51 partner devin archer
21:53 the purpose of the email pizarski
21:55 explains is to quote be on the same page
21:57 about our final goals
21:58 including but not limited to a concrete
22:01 course of action
22:02 so what did bharisma want exactly well
22:05 good pr
22:06 for starters the executive wanted quote
22:08 high-ranking u.s officials to express
22:10 their quote
22:11 positive opinion of barisma and then he
22:14 wanted the administration to act on
22:15 barisma's behalf quote
22:17 the scope of work should also include
22:19 organization of a visit of a number of
22:21 widely recognized and influential
22:23 current and or former u.s
22:24 policymakers to ukraine in november
22:27 aiming to conduct meetings with and
22:29 bring positive signals and message of
22:31 support to burisma
22:33 the goal the executive explained was to
22:35 quote close down
22:36 any cases slash pursuits against the
22:39 head of burisma
22:40 in ukraine so that couldn't be clearer
22:43 what they wanted
22:45 burisma wanted hunter biden's father to
22:47 get their company out of legal trouble
22:49 with the ukrainian government
22:51 and that's exactly what happened one
22:53 month later to the day
22:55 on december 2nd 2015 hunter biden
22:59 received a notice from a washington pr
23:00 firm called blue star strategies
23:02 blue star strategies apparently had been
23:04 hired to lobby the administration on
23:05 ukraine
23:06 this show has exclusively obtained that
23:08 email hello
23:10 all it began this morning the white
23:12 house hosted a conference call regarding
23:14 the vice president's upcoming trip to
23:15 ukraine
23:16 attached is a memo from the blue star
23:18 strategies team
23:19 with the minutes of the call which
23:21 outlined the trip's agenda and addressed
23:23 several questions regarding u.s policy
23:25 toward ukraine
23:26 end quote so here you have a pr
23:29 firm involved in an official white house
23:32 foreign policy call
23:34 how could that happen good question but
23:37 it worked
23:38 days later joe biden flew to ukraine and
23:41 did exactly what his son wanted
23:43 the vice president gave a speech
23:45 slamming the very ukrainian law
23:47 enforcement official who was tormenting
23:49 barisma the exact guy
23:51 if ukrainian government doesn't fire its
23:53 top prosecutor a man called victor
23:55 shokun
23:55 biden explained the administration
23:57 withhold a billion dollars in american
24:00 aid
24:01 now ukraine is a poor country so they
24:03 had no choice but to obey biden's
24:05 bullying worked
24:06 he bragged about it later i had gotten a
24:09 commitment from poroshenko
24:11 and from yatsenyuk that they would take
24:14 action against the state prosecutor and
24:16 they didn't so they said they had
24:18 they were walking out to press
24:19 conference said no i said i'm not going
24:21 to
24:22 we're not going to give you the billion
24:23 dollars they said you have no authority
24:26 you're not the president the president
24:27 said i said call him
24:29 i said i'm telling you you're not
24:30 getting a billion dollars i said you're
24:33 not getting the billion i'm going to be
24:34 leaving here and i think it was about
24:35 six hours i looked i said i'm leaving in
24:37 six hours
24:38 if the prosecutor's not fired you're not
24:40 getting the money
24:41 well son of a [ __ ] got fired
24:46 now joe biden gave that speech before
24:48 the council on foreign relations so we
24:50 pretend as if what he said was normal
24:52 and officially authorized this is how
24:53 things are done
24:55 that's not true at all this is bizarre
24:58 and the amazing thing about the video
24:59 you just saw
25:00 is that no one in that audience of
25:02 harvard graduates and other assorted
25:04 smart people
25:05 asked the glaringly obvious question why
25:07 was the vice president of the united
25:09 states
25:10 threatening a tiny country like ukraine
25:12 to fire its top
25:13 prosecutor that doesn't seem like a vice
25:16 president's role
25:18 well now we know why victor shoken has
25:20 signed an affidavit
25:22 david affirming that he was in fact
25:24 investigating barisma
25:25 at the moment joe biden had him removed
25:28 shogun said that before he was fired
25:30 administration officials pressured him
25:32 into dropping the case against burisma
25:34 he would not do that
25:35 so joe biden canned him that's how
25:38 things
25:38 really work in washington your son's got
25:41 a lucrative
25:42 consulting deal with ukrainian energy
25:43 company you tailor
25:45 american foreign policy to help make him
25:47 rich
25:48 our foreign policy even at the state
25:51 department possibly the most cynical
25:53 agency in government
25:54 this seemed shockingly brazen
