Within Tanzania is the world's weirdest volcano. This volcano erupts black lava which turns white, is enriched in rare earth elements, and which flows like water. I am referring to Ol Doinyo Lengai, which erupts carbonatite lava. This video covers the recent eruptions from this volcano, and states the general hazard which it poses in the future.
