The weather at this time of year in this area can show how weird nature can be. I drove there from Frankfurt one time and the humidity grew the further south we got. I regretted not booking a hotel with air conditioning thinking I've got a week of this. Only to find after a bad nights sleep and after taking several showers through the night the next day, early on we had a downpour of rain. All was settled again as if the previous day never happened the stay was lovely thereafter.
