The Casual Contacts of Jesus

Think about it. It was never planned. You were washing dishes, walking in a parking lot of your favorite store, or sitting at a sporting event and suddenly, you came to know the Lord through someone speaking to you, a gospel tract, or other methods used. It wasn't planned on your account, but it was planned and ordained by God Himself. The same goes with the woman at the well. She did not plan to run into Jesus, but Jesus was there waiting for her and provided the answer to her life spiraling out of control. You may be watching this video and realized that it was never planned but God had already ordered this all before you were born. This is what is referred to a Casual Contact With Jesus.

If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, you can do it right where you are at. By praying the sinner's prayer, you are declaring to God that you are surrendering yourself to Him and relying on Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. It is simple with no fancy or magical words that results in salvation. It is only through faith in Jesus' death and resurrection that can save us. If you understand this are ready to accept, first (1) acknowledge to God you are a sinner and in need of salvation through Jesus Christ and (2) ask Jesus to come and live in you. It is that simple. You can say:

"God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the full penalty of sin. However from now on, I am trusting Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe His death and resurrections provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord Jesus, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen!"

Congratulations! You are now part of the family of God. What should you do now? Find (1) Bible believing church and start attending (2) read the Bible and (3) be with other believers.
