The 1st Commandment: Right Priorities

What is the first commandment and what does it mean?
How do I obey the first commandment?

When Jesus was asked what the most important commandment was He answered" to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind". The First commandment is our first step in realizing how we begin to love God with all our heart and mind.

It begins with making our relationship with God our top priority.

The bible tells us that what we prioritize becomes our God. So we owe it to ourselves to take a good hard look at our priorities. the commandment warns us: "You shall have no other gods before me".

What are some of the common distraction that get between us and our Creator and how can we guard against them.
