Recommendations:
-Ask all border agents for water no matter what they say or don't say
-Church on Mexico side with free food and hydration
-Pick up all the camo clothing with weeds growing in it for use along the route
-Walk around the water treatment facility just before you enter Mexico from the US side
-Works both ways going into Mexico and going into the United States
-Pick up all water bottles along the way the border agents have trashed in the US.
-Be aware there is a large dried up lake full of trash on the US side with nothing useful

Cautions:
-Stay off road next to wall on US side
-You may be attacked on the Mexico side with in 100 feet of border
-Border agents will be riding in new fancy ATVs and may talk to you
-A tented area for border agents is about 1/2 way from the ocean to the river crossing
-Border agents on ATVs are interested in people who swim around the fence in wet suits
