Taliban bolstered by military hardware left behind by US, coalition forces

The Taliban's rapid recapture of Afghanistan coupled with the United States' botched military withdrawal has seen a large amount of military hardware fall into the hands of insurgents.

However, US defence officials claim most of the vehicles were decommissioned and rendered unusable prior to the evacuation of allied troops.
