Pinewood Stock Can material.

Titles of Spanish made documentary film about the Spanish Civil War. Spanish voiceover.

Title reads: "El Camino De La Paz". It is described as being about the war of liberation - suggesting that it is made from the side of the Fascist / Nationalist forces.

Various shots of military parade in celebration of the anniversary of the victory of General Fransico Franco - it seems to be in the 1950s. VS of Spanish Countryside and towns returned to peace after Civil war. CUs of paintings showing Spain's fights for liberation and unification. Early film of Spanish leaders. VS of rioting in Spain in 1930s - presumably against the King Alphonso. VS of scenes surrounding the elections (1936?). Burning Churches are linked to the Communist or Popular Front forces. The voiceover seems to be attacking the Republican (Communist inspired) system of Government brought in after the Election. VS of order being kept by men with guns. Title notes: "18 de Julio". Various shots of Nationalist and army forces on the march after their revolt (they are shown in a heroic light). VS of guns handed out to Socialist fighters in city. VS of preparations in Barcelona. Barricades are set up and Union and political banners are shown. More burnt out Churches are shown. Government forces are shown removing works of art. VS of fighting - dead bodies. VS of troops of Nationalist forces 'liberating' towns and being welcomed. VS of Socialists with weapons in city - women fighters are among those waving guns. CU of map showing progress of war. VS of troops on both sides. More maps. More scenes of fighting in Northern Spain. VS of General Franco planning war. VS of Spanish warships at sea - presumably coming from North Africa. More scenes of fighting - good shots.

N.B. Due to Spanish voiceover, and complicated nature of Spanish Civil War, it is not always clear what is going on here - great material however - MD.
