Protests in Khartoum, Sudan, Amid Reported Coup

People were seen on the streets of Khartoum, Sudan’s capital city, on Monday, October 25, amid what the country’s information ministry described as a “military coup”.

This footage shows protesters gathered in Khartoum on Monday, with plumes of smoke shown and loud bangs heard. Nighttime in Khartoum on Tuesday is also shown.

At least four people were killed during protests in Sudan by October 26, the Central Committee of Sudan Doctors said.
