Orthodox Ecclesiology - Lesson 10: The Church before the face of the Religion of Antichrist

We complete our 10 week overview of Orthodox Ecclesiology, and an examination of contemporary challenges to it, with a look at the Church before the face of Antichrist and his religion, his church of the worldly-minded. We will look at the “temptation coming upon the entire world,” spoken of in the Book of Revelation, as an apostasy from the Theanthropic Body of Christ, from the vision and experience of Christ as the God-man. We will also be briefly introduced to select passages from contemporary Dogmatic theologians Demetrios Tselengides and Fr. John Romanides and the great Elder Athanasius (Mitilianaios).
