Most [real] Ninja clans like Togakure Ryuu fought against injustice and abuse by some ruling samurai clan or family who misused their power.
There were Good ninja and Good samurai / there were Bad ninja and Bad samurai (by Good & Bad I mean benevolence and evil.)
It's the heart not the weapon (gun, sword, rifle, .. ) In my t-shirt I have the picture of an M16 because AR15 type of weapons trigger loony lefties - guns and rifles are part of American history, tradition and culture.
