Nice video. True that it's about the temple being destroyed but this has already happened. Plus as the video correctly states, scripturally we are the temple so there's no physical temple necessary for the Antichrist. The pope is worshiped by millions as Christ on earth.

So according to scripture the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet was the armies surrounding Jerusalem. This happened in 66 A.D. when Cestius and his army were ready to capture Jerusalem but left inexplicably (recorded by Josephus). At this point the Christians left mostly to Pella. Then the final destruction in 70 A.D. and by 74 A.D. the rest were dispersed. verses 20-24 in Luke 21 purely deal with these events as the disciples had asked him when the destruction of the temple and the end of their world would be. They still didn't understand that the Israel of Yah has always been a spiritual kingdom that their nation represented. Abraham is an Israelite, because his faith was counted as righteousness, just as Abel. Neither are descendants of Jacob.

The reason the writers said, "(let him that readeth understand)" and "(whoso readeth, let him understand: )" instead of being plain is obvious: naming Rome in writing as an enemy would've been seen as sedition and the early believers wiped out. It's also why Paul told the Thessalonians "Remember, I told you this when I was with you?" when speaking of the restraining power that held back the man of sin, son of perdition from rising up from within the congregation.

Daniel 9 details the arrival of Messiah, his being cut off after 3 1/2 years and the destruction of the Jewish state and temple at the end of the war. All accomplished just as stated it would be. Jesus fulfilled the 70th week right on time. It was the Jesuits who decided the 70th week was a future even because believers had correctly identified the Papacy with the little horn of Daniel and the man of sin.
