Not the true story of Alaska (Think - WHY would you sell? No way a state equal to 1/5th of all the land in the U.S. would run out of furs...).
Without going into details, Tlingit Natives were about to kill them all & they beat a hasty retreat. Sold the place cheap.
Hope the rest of the series is honest, vs politically correct. Huge one? John McCain killed 134 men, injured hundreds of others in a hotshot playing around stunt onboard the naval aircraft carrier USS Forrestal. Snopes & don't admit this (big clue that it's true). The info came from the men that were there- I saw them yelling about it in videos around the time he ran for president. this place acts like it was an accident: "An unexpected electrical surge had fired one of his Zuni rockets. It tore off the Phantom, zipping across the flight deck and tearing into an A-4 Skyhawk." --
I'm tired, but feel free to do some deep dives, as my gut says this is true. Old vets also called him traitor, as they were starving & abused POWs, he came home with a little limp but in full weight / decent shape. Could it be that his father was influential politician, & McCain himself was selling out his country? Likely.
