Madison Square Garden, Penn Station, Old World New York, Hippodrome, Carnegie, Diana & Antiquitech
Today we will discuss Madison Square Garden, and the three previous renditions of the gardens. We will also talk about Penn Station, one of the largest and most glorious railway stations ever to exist, which was demolished to make way for our current Madison Square Garden.
This video will be rough, as I’ve been going through a lot just to put this out. My grandma just got out of the hospital, and all your support and patience is fully appreciated.
If you want to know what happened to me while making this video, please read more about it at the very bottom of the description.
Also, we are over 1K Subscribers! The message is blowing up quick. Leave your thoughts and comments on the magnificent Moorish Madison Square Garden of yesteryear, as well as the Pennsylvania Railroad Station in NYC, below. What do you think about the transition into the modern MSG we know today?
What happened while creating / recording:
I think I’ve triggered someone. In constructing this video, which by no means is end all be all, I’ve experienced numerous issues that by themselves would be coincidence, but together led me to believe this content is being monitored. My computer and phone each shut down unexpectedly multiple times while recording, and I had to start over. Once I established a reliable connection, the fire alarm in my building began to go off (First time in over a year). After waiting for that to be over (there was no fire) and finally continuing, I recorded for 10 minutes only to play it back and have zero audio.
Problems didn’t stop there. Long story short: A storage issue meant I lost a lot of my old videos and original edits in order to upload this video. Luckily much of my voiceover content was saved. I really hope it was worth it 🥶
