From Reed Sainsbury's EXPOSING THE LIES OF HISTORY, Chapter 9: The Israeli Attack on the USS Liberty: Although some claim there were 10 official investigations of the massacre, the fact remains there have been no U.S. government investigations. In 1967, Israelis attacked the USS Liberty, an American surveillance ship, off the Sinai coast, with gunfire, napalm, missiles, and torpedo boats, killing 34 innocent crew members and wounding 174 others. Despite the American flag waving high in the wind on a clear, sunny day, it soon became their target and was riddled with bullet holes. The Israelis claimed it was an accident, a case of mistaken identity. They also machine-gunned the three life rafts that had been launched to save those who were wounded, which is a war crime. Lieutenant James M. Ennes Jr. described the nightmare in his book, Assault on the Liberty, in which he sustained serious injuries and stated: “My khaki uniform was bright red now from the two dozen rocket fragments buried in my flesh. My left leg broken above the knee, hung from my hip like a great beanbag. The taste of blood was strong in my mouth.” The ship was able to send out an SOS signal and rescue planes were sent out, but oddly enough U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson recalled the rescue mission and left dead and wounded sailors to languish for 16 hours before help finally arrived. And to make matters worse, Johnson, out of fear of Jewish retaliation, accepted the explanation of mistaken identity and did nothing. Ennes did recover from the attack, but the real wound, the one you never recover from, is knowing your government abandoned you in your time of most desperate need. Adding salt to their wounds, crewmembers who survived were told not to talk about it due to “national security,” which is actually code for “Jewish security.” This atrocity was silenced because the media is controlled by Zionist Jews who report only the news they want Americans to hear, not the factual happening of events. Had any other country attacked us, there would have been hell to pay—but not Israel. As retired U.S. Navy Captain Ward Boston Jr., chief legal officer investigator on the attack proposed: “I join the survivors in their call for an honest inquiry. Why is there no room to question Israel—even when it kills Americans—in the halls of Congress?” What caused the Israeli attack on the Liberty? Israel did not want the U.S. eavesdropping on their military operations since they had attacked Egypt, Jordan, and Syria, and were bullying their way around grabbing up land (Sinai, including Gaza), and according to author James Bamford in his book, Body of Secrets: “Were butchering [Egyptian] civilians and bound prisoners by the hundreds.” Israel claimed they thought they were attacking the Egyptian ship El Queseir, despite the American flag flying in the wind on a clear day. Their Jewish plan was to kill everyone on board and sink the Liberty and then accuse the Egyptians of doing it, thus bringing the U.S. into the war on Israel’s side. Lest we forget the Israeli Mossad’s motto, “By Way of Deception, Thou Shalt Do War.” Unknown to Israel, a U.S. Navy EC-121 intelligence aircraft was flying high overhead and electronically recorded the attack, providing evidence the Israelis knew full well they were attacking a U.S. ship. In honor of the men who were injured and killed on this deliberate attack, it’s time the truth be told, and the cowards who did nothing to punish the assailants be exposed. “There is compelling evidence that Israel’s attack was a deliberate attempt to destroy an American ship and kill her entire crew.
