Jim and Diane, WALK AND TALK, Jan 17,18, 2025, Jim Rizoli - Hospital Admission and Update

Update for Jim's admission and sojourn in the hospital. Results to come.

After dealing with breathlessness, only relieved by the diuretic Lasix, he wanted to know what was causing this ‘filling’. So we went to the local hospital, the one before which had no beds and would have required a major transfer, swiftly admitted him into the ER, given a room, bed and started immediately to take blood, urine, chest x-ray, EKG, then eventually chest CT (suspected possible pulmonary embolism, but was found negative — yeah!) Then echocardiogram (ultrasound) of the heart. They were going to admit him, which didn’t occur from the time I left (2:30p) to about 8:30p. The video was taken before more results came in.
