Israel under threat of terror– Jerusalem Studio 732

Published on 07 Dec 2022 / In Non-profits and Activism

In late November, two explosions rocked the calm morning of Jerusalem.

Charges were detonated at bus stops several kilometers apart, killing two Israelis and wounding almost twenty. Had this simultaneous terror attack taken place aboard buses, the result could have been horrific, much like those of thirty and twenty-five years ago, and public pressure on the Israeli government to undertake a major military campaign against whoever sent or inspired the murderers would have been irresistible.

Because the same cell or others could try it again, while Israel is in the midst of political transition, the tension is particularly high. What are we to expect of this highly charged mixture of terror and politics?
