The Idahoan shares his paraphrase of the 52nd Psalm.

Lyrics:

Why do you boast of mischief?
And trust in carnal might?
Why do you love deception?
And in evil deeds delight?
Your sharp words spread destruction,
‘til God thy soul shall smite!

For divine justice hastens,
Thy destruction to repay,
By which God good men chastens,
Who shall to one another say,

“Behold the bitter ending,
Of one whose strength was not in God,
But who, on wealth depending,
In wicked ways ‘ere trod!”

And they’ll shudder as they witness,
The desolation come to thee,
And give thanks God’s loving kindness
Endures continually!

Wherefor, let my tongue sing praises,
Unto God for His mercy,
And trust therein forever,
And ever with God be!
