The Idahoan shares his paraphrase of the 43rd psalm.

Lyrics:

Thou art my Judge, oh God Most High,
For justice unto Thee I cry!
I beseech Thee, Lord, my cause defend,
Against a nation of ungodly men!
From slander, false witness and fraud,
Deliver me, oh Lord, my God!

For Thou my strength and refuge art,
Why shouldst thou cast my soul away?
Why should grief consume my heart,
With oppression from mine enemy?

Oh Lord, shine forth Thy truth and light,
That by them I may a just course steer,
Until I reach Thy kingdom bright,
And before Thine alter there draw near,
With songs of exaltation and delight!

Why art thou downcast, oh my soul?
Why dost thou find no rest?
Hope Thou in God, who makes thee whole,
And doth lift up thy countenance,
For I shall yet praise His holy Name,
When He my soul shall redeem!
