they wrote negro on the birth certificate because that is the correct racial classification
it is short for Negroid, which is the racial classification for blacks
Caucasoid/Caucasian is classification for whites
Mongoloid/Asian is classification for asians
no such thing as what is used today as African American, that term is two Continents not a racial classification
