‘Hysterical and erroneous’ climate predictions have a ‘direct cost’

Sky News host Chris Kenny says “hysterical and erroneous” climate predictions have real-world repercussions.

“I mentioned Tim Flannery on the show last night, his endless climate alarmism and ridiculous predictions of permanent drought and empty dams,” Mr Kenny said.

“Now the real-world repercussions of that sort of thing have meant that governments across this country … ended up building expensive, power-hungry desalination plants, rather than building more dams.

“That is one direct cost of hysterical and erroneous climate predictions, now I’m worried we're going to see a similar thing in response to the pandemic.”
