The RMR from trijicon has been the long time king of the hill for pistol mounted optics. Some have bigger windows, addition features but none have been able to endure the beating the RMR could take and still keep working. The Holosun has been proving itself to be a very durable optic and a real fighter in the duty carry optic class. With shake awake technology, auto dimming, auto off, solar power and a ridiculous battery life it seems to be a no brainier for those of us to cannot afford multiple RMR's, but what something that can survive long term.

The Holosun also has some of the clearest glass I have seen especially when compared to other budget models. The 32 moa circle and dot are exceptionally clear and the ability to change to your liking is very nice indeed. If you have any doubt what a beating this can take watch the Sage Dynamics video on it.
