Hezekiah's Prayer

Ever been in a situation in which your back was against the wall and you had no where to turn to for help but God? The same with Hezekiah. The king of Assyria (Sennacherib) made some bold challenges, even challenging God Himself. With no one or nowhere to to turn to, he turned to God and laid out the threats that were made against him, Jerusalem, and even to God. This is a good example when we run into any situation and that is to turn to God and ask Him for his help and guidance. Pastor Kenneth Pack discusses the importance of seeking God, just as Hezekiah did and trusting in Him to save us.

------------------------------------Road to Salvation---------------------------------------------------
If you would like to accept Jesus as your savior, you can do it right where you are at. By praying the sinner's prayer, you are declaring to God that you are surrendering yourself to Him and relying on Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. It is simple with no fancy or magical words that results in salvation. It is only through faith in Jesus' death and resurrection that can save us. If you understand this are ready to accept, first (1) acknowledge to God you are a sinner and in need of salvation through Jesus Christ and (2) ask Jesus to come and live in you. It is that simple. You can say:

"God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the full penalty of sin. However from now on, I am trusting Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe His death and resurrections provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord Jesus, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen!"

Congratulations! You are now part of the family of God. What should you do now? Find (1) Bible believing church and start attending (2) read the Bible and (3) be with other believers.
