Get ready for Christ’s return: faith leads to obedience to Christ

True faith is expressed not just by mere words but by action. True faith leads us to obey Christ Jesus, the Son ot the living God. If we love Him, we will keep His commandments (John 14:15).

Faith in Jesus Christ is the premise that leads us to obey Him. Works alone does not work. We need to be faithful to Christ and true faith will lead us to obey Him.

James 2:18 says, Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

Works equals obedience to Christ. If we don’t observe His words, then we cannot be His (Mark 8:38).
