Gene Drive - Genetic Engineering.

This is taken from a document and is a science already in use, it is used to change a population and is irreversible. It is genetic engineering and studied and experimented on insects. which then sterilized a whole population of mosquito's to the point of extinction. The question is: Are they using it now on the population.
