Attorney General Dana Nessel is planning to testify about domestic terrorism and militia activity in Michigan.

The hearing before a House subcommittee is titled “State and Local Responses to Domestic Terrorism: The Attack on the US Capitol and Beyond.”

The state attorney general has charged eight leaders of the Wolverine Watchmen and their associates for the plot to kidnap and possibly kill Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. The federal government has also charged six people for the same plot.

Nessel will be virtually testifying before the House Subcommittee on Intelligence & Counterterrorism.
