Evil That Comes From Within

What Defiles a Person, where does that evil come from?

Jesus has one habit that according to the Pharisees was absolutely unacceptable?

He was breaking the sabbath, healing people, telling those healed to pickup their bed and carry it home.

Disciples walking through the grain field and eating some grain, etc. Their is no way this man is of God if He does not keep the Sabbath?

Mark 7:14 And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand:
Mark 7:15 There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.

Christians today believe their is no way you can be a Christian and commit certain sins, like the Pharisees before them they have their super evil sins like smoking and drinking.

Mar 7:18 And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without enters into the man, it cannot defile him;
Mar 7:19 Because it enters not into his heart, but into the belly, and goes out into the draught, purging all meats?
Mar 7:20 And he said, That which comes out of the man, that defiles the man.

So Jesus is saying that the true defilement comes from within, like thinking about a sexual fantasy, dreaming of taking revenge on someone?

Mar 7:21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornication, murders,
Mar 7:22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
Mar 7:23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

We as Christians have a nasty habit of looking down on those who sin differently than we do.

So are all things external that come from outside permissible, hardly, Paul said,

1Co 10:23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.
