Eat the Passover in Haste

The unleavened bread we eat at Passover is a reminder of the haste with which Israel had to leave Egypt. Let's also consider our haste to leave the bondage of sin.

Deuteronomy 16:3  You shall eat no leavened bread with it. Seven days you shall eat it with unleavened bread, the bread of affliction—for you came out of the land of Egypt in haste—that all the days of your life you may remember the day when you came out of the land of Egypt. 

God's repeatedly tells His people they are to be prepared, alert, clear headed, to think and act in manner that is ready for everything to change without much warning. This is part of the Passover message as well.

In our preparations for the Passover this year lets all remember to eat it in haste... with a sense of urgency. Urgency to conform our lives to the expressed will of God. Time will not go on forever
...don't think you can with for tomorrow
...don't think you can take a break from overcoming
... don't think the task is too hard and give up
