I don't understand why the people who record these things never put the phone down and jump in to come to the victim's aid. They just go right on recording. I also wonder if the scenario wasn't staged... Someone recording "random" footage and this just happens. It's interesting.

It's entirely possible the victim was ambushed. The homeless guy was just waiting for someone to victimize.
