Looking into Josephs life and the injustices he faced is a clear reminder of what his father Jacob spoke over him while on his deathbed. Jacob said that Joseph would be a fruitful vine near a spring whose branches would climb over the wall. Joseph was not treated justly on several occasions and yet he was always being promoted. Why was this? It was because He pursued God and God helped him in these times of adversity. He became the great leader of Egypt and ending up feeding his Father Jacob and his brothers from he storehouse of Egypt's grain. Josephs dependence upon God meant that he had an inheritance to pass along.
