Defence Innovation Talks: a French perspective on defence innovation

Innovation in the defence sector seeks to solve two interrelated challenges: maintain the operational superiority of the forces deployed in the field and guarantee a military power’s autonomy of action. The French Ministry of Armed Forces decided in 2018 to meet this double challenge by creating the French Defence Innovation Agency.
