this movie and "Eyes Wide Shut" might be good ones to compare similarities and symbolism being shown, maybe add a good dose of "The Shining" with that too. right there is three different writers and producers, is it truth telling or confessions or both? Kubrick sure showed a lot of what was intended for us in "A Clockwork Orange" that is all too real today, being done on a massive scale. to me its pretty weird how the three of them became so wealthy and famous..

I was a youngin in college when John Lennon was killed, there was a flyer circulating around campus showing that Mark David Chapman looked near exactly like Steven King, except their glasses were opposite prescription types (convex vs concave for nearsighted vs farsighted), and that Chapman was the patsy for what King actually did. the flyer also told how not long after the event Steven King wrote a very highly detailed first person perspective of being a sniper, many of the details lining right up with the actual event. not too long afterwards is when Steven King's career+fame really began taking off btw.
