That mark on the receiver is called a “cage code”.

I love the classic look of this gun. Colt all the way. So cool. Especially in today’s day and age of M4gery ARs.
I have a Colt Competition Match HBAR 20” flat top snd love it.
Very close to yours but I actually like your lighter barrel.
This thing just looks so dang good.
