Children's Christmas in Russia

Christmas in Russia is January 7th. Ded Moroz literally "Grandfather Frost", is a Russian Santa Clause. Snegurochka (Snow Maiden) is his granddaughter. When Communists removed Santa Clause and all celebrations of Christmas, the people outsmarted them by creating a "Father Frost" as the Church went underground. "Khorovod" (circle dancing) is a Russian folk dance which is a lot of fun.
