The most hated teaching of Jesus is also arguably the most important teaching of Jesus... but where is there any church preaching it? Over and over, preachers of all shapes and sizes argue against this fundamental Christian teaching. Your pastor is almost certainly NOT an exception. Don't believe me? Then listen to this sermon and let me know in the comments if you've heard it preached before. More importantly, let me know if you yourself are following the most hated of all Jesus' teachings.

What is "A Voice in the Desert"?

A Voice in the Desert is anonymous. Its purpose is to point people to the message, rather than the messenger. Most modern day prophets promote themselves more than the teachings of Jesus and the true message of Revelation. A Voice in the Desert challenges that error and more. Some of the things you hear on this channel may be difficult to understand, and may offend you. The goal, however, is to sweep away dogmas and traditions to reveal what Jesus actually taught.

@The Best Christian Teaching Videos : The heart of this message is accurate and Biblically sound. I would only add this, all people need money to survive. It is not money itself that is evil, but the LOVE of money that is the root of evil (so says the Bible). Even the apostles worked for a living as they traveled and taught God's new testament. I believe he worked as a tent maker so that he would not have to be a financial burden to those around him. The Bible also teaches that if a man does not work for his food that he not worthy to eat it. HOWEVER, with that said, the heart of your message is accurate and I support the tone of it as it agrees with the Holy word of God. The are serious times. It is the end. God is a discerner of hearts so no matter what a man does may He do it for God knowing that we will all bow before Him, willing or not.

@Yashadel: Thanks for responding. Is it from the teachings of Jesus that you got the idea that all people need money to survive? Jesus actually taught that we cannot serve two masters at the same time and that we will either love one or hate the other; He said that we cannot work for both God and money. Here is a great video my friends made which tells the truth about the 'tentmaking' myth which the churches are perpetuating - https://bit.ly/3l188Rs

@The Best Christian Teaching Videos : The Bible actually says the "love" of money is the root to all kinds of evil. It does not say that money itself is evil. To LOVE money over God is to make it your master. To love God and tithe with the money you earn is to make God your master. How can you tithe if you earn no money? Jesus Himself worked. He was a carpenter. The apostles worked. I think it is fruitless to speak any further about this. It is, in all honestly, basic common sense. Jesus is the epidemy of what we are to stive to be and he worked and paid taxes to the Romans. But he did not serve his money, he used the money to serve God.

@The Best Christian Teaching Videos : One last thing... I beg you, whatever you do, do for the Holy Father God of Heaven through faith in the messiah. It is literally the end of the world. I am he that knows the truth. Did God Himself tell me this? Yes. The answer is profoundly and solidly YES. The time is now. Prepare your heart. Prepare your life.

@Yashadel: Jesus said that we must give 100 percent of our wealth to God by selling everything we have and giving it to the poor and then start to follow Him. If we choose to spend our time sharing His teachings to the world He will provide us with what we need. Have you heard Jesus say these things before in the four gospels brother? Luke 12:33 - Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys. Matthew 6:33 - But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. We do need to prepare ourselves to meet Jesus, and a big part of this is choosing to work for God instead of money. Can we serve two masters when the mark of the beast comes bro?

If I thought you were sincere I would put more effort into this post, but I do not. Therefore I will only tell you this, let each man work out his own salvation with fear and trembling. The time is now.

@Yashadel: We do need to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, that is true.
