Biogas has the potential to replace petroleum import of India: A. R. Shukla, President, IBA

As the nature of farming is changing, millions of tonnes of agricultural wastes are burnt by farmers which adds to pollution and global warming. However, some technologies are available to convert agricultural waste into biogas which could be used in vehicles at the place of CNG.
We catch up with Dr. A. R. Shukla, President, Indian Biogas Association, who participated as a speaker in the Waste Management Series of Summits (WMSS) 2020 organized in New Delhi on 30th to 31st January, for an exclusive interview.
